I have a little dilema I would like a little help with, my best friend has asked me to be godmother to her twin girls in April and I would like to make them something they can keep, either knitted or crochet a present they can take with them on lifes journey. I have been thinking about a blanket for them both but wonder if anyone has seen anything special or could suggest any ideas?

My husband's cousin had twins ten years ago, and I crocheted v-neck sweaters for them. Their mother had a wonderful idea and put the sweaters on stuffed bears when the twins outgrew them. I thought that was ingenious.
